Hidropark (or water recreation park) is an island, situated on the Dnieper River and connected with the center of Kiev with a rather dangerous bridge.
During summers there are a plenty of half-naked people with bottles of beer – these are chavs, and what about scents of burnt meat wafting abroad – these are shashlyki (specially prepared meat, like grill).
In autumn and winter these landscapes are perfect for Hollywood horror movies.
The place is deserted. All the entertainment institutions are closed and even unkempt.
BUT, if to move deeper into spinney, you can meet a madman, even a couple of them and BTW regardless of the season.
